All images offered at Shotshop are royalty-free. All images may be:
- used without time limit
- used worldwide
- used unlimited, irrespective to quantity or circulation

We offer three easy types of license. The required licence depends on the planed usage of the image material:

STANDARD LICENCE
Images with a Standard Licence can be used - unlimited - in all media (no matter if it is print, online, television, etc.).Even later reprints, multiple usage or high circulations are not a problem at all. You will automatically receive your image in the highest possible resolution, usually larger than DIN A3 at 300dpi - which is supreme print resolution.

WEB LICENCE
If you need images for web and screen use only, our Web Licence is ideal for you. Web-licensed images are not to be published in printed matter.

Price: 10 EUR/ 15 USD / 10 GBP

EXTENDED LICENCE
All Shotshop images can be used for (almost) anything - no matter if it is a commercial or editorial purpose. Our Standard Licence will be adequate in most cases.However, products for resale, multiple usage of images within a group of comanies, and usage in connection with a press release require the purchase of an Extended Licence

Merchandise Licence
With an upgrade to the Standard Licence, images may be used on items for resale, for example T-Shirts, coffee mugs, postcards, posters, calenders, or similar products.  Images may also be offerd for editorial use by means of a press release.

With an upgrade to the Web Licence, images may be used in electronic resale products, for example computer games, templates for electronic greeting cards and websites, mobile content, mobile devices, etc.

For images which are labeled with "Editorial Use Only", Extended Licences are not available.

Corporate Licence
With this extended licence images may be used within 5 associated companies (according to Section 15 of the German Stock Corporation Act) within a group of companies.

Extended Licence (Standard) Image Size: maximum resolution, price: from 90 EUR


Licence agreement

Non Exclusivity
The customer does not purchase the exclusive right of use for the image. Any number of third parties may also purchase rights of use.

Transfer
The usage right of an image may only be resold or given to a single third party if this transfer is part of the completion of a customers project, for example in an advertisemnt agency. Multiple useage in projects of different customers is not allowed. An additional licence must be purchased in this case.This also applies for modified images or copies.

Image Editing
Any retouch or image editing of the images must not damage the reputation of the photographer or the model.

Copyright
Images used in an editorial or journalistic context must be labeled with the following copyright notice on or nearby the image, in the imprint, or within the image credits: "© Name of Author / Shotshop.com".

Licence Restrictions

Images labeled with "Editorial Use Only" may only be used for editorial purposes.

The image or parts of it are not to be used in or as a logo or as a trademark or service marks.

Any usage of the images in a pornographic content or in a criminal, reputation-damaging, or degrading way is strictly prohibited.Furthermore, the personal rights of the imaged persons must not be affected negatively.
