Quick Image Search
Enter a keyword in the search box and click on the search button. You can search for one or more keywords or an image number (e.g. l62-372).

Enter keywords which describe the theme of the image:
• Substantives, which describe the main motive, for example “mobile” or “house”.
• Adjectives, for example “rusty”, “pensive” or “happy”.
• Verbs, which desribe the pictured action, for example “laughing” or “sleeping”.

Search Tips
• Use simple words. Use the infinitive from of verbs and use the singular for substantives.
• Start your research with just one or two keywords. It is better to filter your search result or to add keywords and search in your results than to search for too many words at once.  
• Do not use whole sentences (“Images of a man with a dog”), but only keywords: “man”, “dog”
• Use very general keywords (for example “bag” instead of “handbag”)

Browse
If you are looking for nothing in particular, you may just browse through our different categories or just get some inspiration from our WANTED collection. WANTED is always unpredictable, young and totally subjective.

Searching for Exact Colors
You have also the opportunity to search for exact colors by hex values. Just enter “Color:” into the search box and then add the hex value (without the number sign). For example, you are searching for “red” (#FF0000) by entering Color:FF0000. If you want to search for several colors, just seperate them with a colon. For example Color:808080:00FF00 or Color:800000:FFFF00:008080.

Find Similar Images
You found an image that met your requirements and would like to see if there are any similar images available? Just click “Find Similar Images” in the image preview (rollover the thumbnail). Or open the image details page of the respective image by clicking on the image thumbnail. You will find several options which help you to find similar images. All image related keywords will be listed below “Find Similar Images”. Click on one or a combination of keywords and start a new search. We offer additional image suggestions according to different criteria, for example content, colour or same model. Start searching for similar images here.
